Service and Maintenance Engineer

An opportunity to work for an ever expanding company in the Swansea and the Newport area. The position involves a variety of pumping station and treatment plant maintenance activities for commercial and domestic clients within the waste water industry.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Carrying out maintenance, servicing, installations and fault finding on pumps and related equipment.
  • Compliance with the Health and Safety regulations and standards.
  • Accurate written reporting and detailing of conducted maintenance, spare/replacement part requirements and irregular operational conditions.
  • Treatment plant maintenance at various locations in the South Wales and West.
  • Carrying out pump removal, inspection & installation works in a safe, professional manner providing exceptional customer service.
  • Inspection and testing of installations to ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.

Requirements for the role:

Essential

  • Excellent written, verbal communication and reporting.
  • Problem solving and working off own initiative.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Full UK driving license.

Advantages

  • Industry experience advantageous although training will be provided.
  • Confined space entry trained advantageous
  • CSCS advantageous
  • Basic electrical knowledge advantageous

 

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

Rate is Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.

39 hours per week.

Overtime available where required.

A company vehicle and phone will be provided.

Mechanical Fitter

An excellent opportunity to work for a growing company in the Swansea area. The job involves a variety of pump maintenance activities and installations on waste water treatment plants and pumps.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Mechanical pump maintenance at various locations in the South Wales and West.
  • Carrying out pump removal and installation works in a safe and professional manner.
  • Inspection and testing of installations to ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.
  • Part of the fabrication team, with installations in South Wales / South West.
  • Compliance with the Health and Safety regulations and client required Health and Safety standards
  • Requirements for the role are:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience (industry preferred).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Confined space entry trained an advantage.
  • CSCS an advantage.

Immediate start.

Job Type: Full-time

Rate is £12.00 / hour, a 39-hour week.

Overtime available.
